Thank you for your feedback. We have updated our integration so that VeriSync for TikTok Shop works entirely through its own Shopify API integration, without requiring merchants to create any custom apps.
Specifically:
The app authenticates via OAuth 2.0 and uses its own Shopify Admin API credentials.
All store data (products, orders, inventory sync to TikTok Shop) is fetched and written through the app's own Admin GraphQL/REST API calls — no merchant-created custom apps are involved at any point.
In the attached screencast , you can see the full installation and setup flow completed on a test store: the merchant only clicks "Install" and authorizes scopes. There is no step asking the merchant to create a custom app or paste any API credentials.
