Installation is now initiated <b>only from a Shopify-owned surface</b>: the merchant installs the app from the Shopify App Store listing (or Shopify Admin), and the store domain is passed automatically via OAuth — there is no screen anywhere in the flow that asks the merchant to type in a <code>*.myshopify.com</code> URL or shop domain.

In the attached screencast , we show the complete installation flow starting from the Shopify App Store listing page, through OAuth authorization, to the embedded app loading — with no manual domain entry at any step. We have also checked every configuration screen, and none of them request a store domain.
